Kurumsal Kimlik
Öğrencilerin okuma becerilerini geliştirmek ve topluma okuma alışkanlığı kazandırmak amacıyla projeler üretmeyi ve bu alanda ücretsiz hizmet sunmayı görev edinen Oku Okut Derneği, 07 Aralık 2020 tarihinde Ankara’da kuruldu. Kanunlar çerçevesinde faaliyet gösteren bir sivil toplum kuruluşu olan Derneğimiz, toplum yararı için eğitim alanında sahip olduğu programlarla, okuma alışkanlığının artırılması amacıyla faaliyetler yürütmektedir.

CORPORATE IDENTITY
Okut Okut Association, which aims to produce projects and provide free services in order to improve the reading skills of students and to inculcate reading habits in society, was established in Ankara on 07 December 2020. Our Association, which is a non-governmental organization operating within the framework of the law, carries out activities in order to increase reading habits with its programs in the field of education for the benefit of society.

MİSYONUMUZ & VİZYONUMUZ
Oku Okut Derneği’nin misyonu; kendini, tarihini, kültürünü ve dünyayı bilme yolunda olan öğrencilerimize, bilimsel veriler ve uluslararası başarılı uygulama örnekleri perspektifinde okuma alışkanlığı kazandırmak ve bu alışkanlığın tüm toplumda yaygınlaşmasını sağlamaktır.
Oku Okut Derneği’nin hedef kitlesi; öncelikle öğrencilerimiz, vatandaşlarımız ve yurt dışında yaşayan soydaşlarımızdır.
Oku Okut Derneği’nin kapsama ve hizmet alanı; yapay zekâ ve çevrim içi teknolojik imkânlarla yakın planda Türkiye, gelecekte tüm dünyadır.
Oku Okut Derneği’nin vizyonu; okuma alışkanlığı kazandırmada ve kitap okumayı desteklemede Türkiye’nin KIZILAY’ı olmaktır.
Oku Okut Derneği’nin amacı, öğrencilere “kitap okuma alışkanlığı” kazandırmak ve bu alışkanlığı toplumda yaygınlaştırmak amacıyla kapsamlı akademik araştırmalar yaparak her durum için özel “okuma projeleri” üretmektir. Yürütülecek projelerle eğitim-öğretimin her kademesindeki öğrenciler için kitaplarla buluşma imkânları oluşturulacaktır. Okuma-anlama becerilerinin geliştirilmesi için her okuyucuya yapay zekâ ve eğitim danışmanları aracılığıyla rehberlik hizmeti verilecektir. Ayrıca alanında uzman öğretim üyelerinin danışmanlığında ilkokul, ortaokul, lise, lisans, yüksek lisans ve doktora öğrencilerine yönelik çevrim içi okuma kulüpleri oluşturularak öğrencilerin yazarlarla buluşması sağlanacaktır. Proje kapsamında gayretli ve başarılı olan öğrencilerin ödüllendirilmesi; maddi imkânı kısıtlı olan ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise öğrencilerine yönelik ücretsiz çevrim içi canlı destek kurslarının düzenlenmesi de hedeflenmektedir.
Oku Okut Derneği’nin projelerine ve sunduğu hizmetlere katılım tamamen ücretsizdir ve www.okuokut.org adresinden kayıtla gerçekleşmektedir.
MISSION & VISION
The mission of the Okut Okut Association is to make all students, who are on the way to know themselves, their history, culture, and the world, gain the habit of reading from the perspective of scientific data and international successful practice examples.
The target audience of the Okut Okut Association is all students in Turkey and abroad.
The scope and service area of the Okut Okut Association; With artificial intelligence and online technological opportunities, Turkey is the whole world in the future.
The vision of the Okut Okut Association; To be Turkey’s KIZILAY in gaining reading habits and supporting reading.
The aim of the Okut Okut Association is to produce special “reading projects” for every situation by conducting extensive academic research in order to develop the habit of reading books in students and to popularize this habit in society. With the projects to be carried out, opportunities to meet with books will be created for students at all levels of education. Guidance will be provided to each reader through artificial intelligence and education consultants to improve their reading comprehension skills. In addition, online reading clubs will be created for primary, secondary, high school, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students under the supervision of faculty members who are experts in their fields, and students will be able to meet with authors. Rewarding students who are diligent and successful within the scope of the project; is also aimed to organize free online live support courses for primary, secondary, and high school students with limited financial means.
Participation in the projects and services of the Oku Okut Association is completely free and can be done with registration at www.okuokut.org.
AMAÇLARIMIZ
Oku Okut Derneği’nin amaçları şunlardır:
- Eğitim ve öğretim faaliyetlerini imkânları ölçüsünde desteklemek; yakın vadede öğrencilere, uzun vadede tüm topluma okuma alışkanlığı kazandırmak ve okuma alışkanlığını geliştirmek için çalışmak.
- Kitap okuma alışkanlığını artırmaya odaklanan kapsamlı akademik araştırmalar yürütmek.
- Kitap okuma alışkanlığını artırmaya odaklanan etkinlik ve faaliyetler yürütmek.
- Dernek faaliyetlerine katılan öğrenci ve yetişkinlerin okuma alışkanlığı kazanmasını sağlamak için çalışmak, bilinçlendirmek, teşvik etmek ve imkânlar ölçüsünde ödüllendirmek.
- Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı ve Üniversitelerle ile iş birliği yaparak ilköğretim, ortaöğretim, lisans ve lisansüstü seviyelerinde eğitim-öğretim gören öğrencilere ve yetişkinlere yönelik öğretmen ve öğretim üyelerinin danışmanlığında yüz yüze veya çevrim içi okuma kulüpleri ve toplulukları kurmak, öğrencileri yazarlar ile buluşturmak.
- Maddi imkânı bulunmayan ilköğretim, ortaöğretim, lisans ve lisansüstü seviyelerinde eğitim-öğretim gören öğrencilere yönelik ücretsiz yüz yüze veya çevrim içi ortamda destek kursları düzenlemek.
- Maddi imkânı bulunmayan ilköğretim, ortaöğretim, lisans ve lisansüstü seviyelerinde eğitim-öğretim gören öğrencileri imkânlar ölçüsünde burs vererek desteklemek,
- Türkiye’de üretilen akademik birikimin uluslararası görünürlüğünü artırmak, bu kapsamda Dernek üyelerince kaleme alınan araştırmaların İngilizce ve diğer dillerde yayımını desteklemek.
- Eğitim-öğretimi desteklemek ve okuma alışkanlığını yaygınlaştırmak amacıyla yayın yapmak, derneğin görev alanına giren yayınları desteklemek, tavsiye etmek.
- Türk kültürüne, insani değerlere, bilime ve sanata hizmet etmiş kişi ve kuruluşlara ödül vermek.
AIMS OF THE ASSOCIATION
The aims of the Okut Okut Association are as follows:
- To support education and training activities as much as possible; To make students gain reading habits in the near term and to the whole society in the long term, and to work to develop reading habits.
- Conducting comprehensive academic research focusing on increasing the habit of reading books.
- To carry out activities and activities that focus on increasing the habit of reading books.
- To work, raise awareness, encourage and reward students and adults who participate in the activities of the association to gain the habit of reading.
- To establish face-to-face or online reading clubs and societies under the supervision of teachers and faculty members for primary, secondary, undergraduate, and graduate students and adults in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and Universities, connect with authors.
- To organize free face-to-face or online support courses for students who do not have financial means at primary, secondary, undergraduate, and graduate levels.
- To support students who do not have financial means at primary, secondary, undergraduate, and graduate levels by giving scholarships to the extent possible,
- To increase the international visibility of the academic knowledge produced in Turkey, and to support the publication of research written by the members of the Association in English and other languages.
- Publishing in order to support education and spread the habit of reading, to support and recommend publications that fall within the scope of the association’s duty.
- To give awards to individuals and organizations that have served Turkish culture, human values, science, and art.
TEMEL İLKELERİMİZ
Oku Okut Derneği uluslararası kurumsal yönetim ana ilkeleri olan aşağıda belirtilen prensiplerine bağlı kalarak etik değerler çerçevesinde hizmet sunar:
- Ayırım Gözetmemek: Oku Okut Derneği; milliyet, ırk, dinî inanç, sınıf veya siyasi düşünce farkı gözetmez. Eğitim ve öğretimi destekler; topluma okuma alışkanlığı kazandırmak ve okuma alışkanlığını geliştirmek için çalışır.
- Tarafsızlık: Oku Okut Derneği, herkesin güvenini kazanmak amacıyla, düşmanlıklara taraf olmaz. Hiçbir zaman din, ırk, siyasi ve ideolojik nitelikteki ihtilaflara girmez.
- Bağımsızlık: Oku Okut Derneği, bağımsız bir kuruluştur. Eğitim ve öğretimi destekleme ile okuma alışkanlığının artırılmasına yönelik faaliyetlerde kamu otoritelerinin yardımcısıdır.
- Şeffaflık: Oku Okut Derneği, Dernek ile ilgili mali, ayni ve iktisadi konularda yeterli, doğru ve kıyaslanabilir bilgiyi zamanında, somut ve anlaşılabilir bir şekilde kamuoyuna web sitesinden açıklar.
- Hesap Verebilirlik: Oku Okut Derneği, yönetime ilişkin kural ve sorumluluklarını açık bir şekilde tanımlar ve bu sorumlulukları çerçevesinde şeffaflık ve kamuoyuna açıklık ilkesini benimser.
- Sorumluluk: Oku Okut Derneği faaliyet ve hizmetlerinin, ulusal ve uluslararası ilgili mevzuata, kurum içi düzenlemelere, toplumsal ve etik değerlere uygunluğunu sağlar.
- Adalet ve Eşitlik: Oku Okut Derneği yönetimi; tüm faaliyetlerinde üçüncü şahıslara karşı eşit davranmayı ve önyargısız yaklaşmayı benimser.

BASIC PRINCIPLES OF THE ASSOCIATION
Okut Okut Association provides services within the framework of ethical values by adhering to the following principles, which are the main principles of international corporate governance:
Non-Discrimination: Okut Okut Association; nationality, race, religious belief, class, or political opinion does not discriminate. Supports education and training; works to inculcate reading habits in society and to develop reading habits.
- Impartiality: Okut Okut Association does not become a party to hostilities in order to gain everyone’s trust. It never enters into conflicts of religious, racial, political, or ideological nature.
- Independence: Okut Okut Association is an independent organization. It is the assistant of public authorities in activities aimed at supporting education and training and increasing reading habits.
- Transparency: Okut Okut Association discloses sufficient, accurate and comparable information on financial, real, and economic issues related to the Association to the public on its website in a timely, concrete, and understandable manner.
- Accountability: Okut Okut Association clearly defines its management rules and responsibilities and adopts the principle of transparency and openness to the public within the framework of these responsibilities.
- Responsibility: Okut Okut Association ensures that its activities and services comply with national and international relevant legislation, internal regulations, social and ethical values.
- Justice and Equality: Management of Okut Association; adopts equal treatment and unprejudiced approach towards third parties in all its activities.
- Respect for Ethical Values: Okut Association respects ethical values and observes compliance with ethical values in its activities.
GÖREV VE SORUMLULUKLARIMIZ
Oku Okut Derneği’nin görev ve sorumlulukları şunlardır:
- İmkânları ölçüsünde eğitim ve öğretimi desteklemek ve okuma alışkanlığının artırılması için faaliyette bulunmak.
- Derneğin görev alanına giren ürün (kitap, çevrim içi eğitim programları), veritabanı, dijital kütüphane, araç ve gereçleri fiziki ve/veya dijital ortamda temin etmek ve dernek üyelerinin ve faaliyetlere katılanların kullanıma sunmak.
- Derneğin görev alanına giren konularda hizmetler yürütmek amacıyla gerekli veritabanlarını ve aplikasyonları geliştirmek ve gerekli birimleri oluşturmak.
- Derneğin görev alanına giren konularda kampanyalar yürütmek.
- Derneğin görev alanına giren konularda ilgili yurt içi ve dışı kurum, kuruluş ve merkezlerle iş birliği ve çalışmalar yapmak.
- Derneğin görev alanına giren konularda yurt içi ve dışında araştırma ve bilinçlendirme faaliyetleri yapmak ve bu kapsamında kişi veya ekipler görevlendirmek.
- Derneğin görev alanına giren konularda devlet kurumları tarafından planlanan ve yürütülen kampanyalara katılmak ve desteklemek.
- Derneğin görev alanına giren konularda hizmetler yürütmek amacıyla gerekli veritabanlarını, aplikasyonları ve birimleri oluşturmak.
- Derneğin görev alanına giren faaliyetleri ifa edebilmek için kamudan ve özel sektörden kaynak sağlamak.
- Derneğin görev alanına giren konularda faaliyete bulunabilmek için ayni ve/veya nakdi bağış ve yardımları kabul etmek.
- Oku Okut’un gönüllü hizmet sistemi ile interneti olmayan yerlerde ikâmet eden ve düzenli kitap okuma ve diğer kampanyalara katılan kişi ve öğrencilerle iletişim için gerekli hizmet birimlerini kurmak ve geliştirmek.
- Gerekli görüldüğünde amacına uygun faaliyetleri desteklemek üzere, faaliyet alanları ile ilgili her türlü eğitim ve öğretim kurumları kurmak.
- Her yaşta insanın ve özellikle gençlerin Derneğin faaliyetlerine katılmasını teşvik etmek.
- Gençlik hizmetlerini yürütmek ve geliştirmek.
- Üye sayısını artırmak için gerekli çalışmaları yapmak.
- Ulusal ve uluslararası konferanslar, sempozyumlar, seminerler, kurslar, açık oturumlar, forumlar, sergiler, fuarlar, geziler düzenlemek; broşür, bülten, dergi, CD, kaset, film, gazete, dergi ve kitap yayınlamak.
- Yazılı ve görsel basın yayın araçları ile sosyal medyayı kullanarak Derneğin tanıtımını yapmak.
- Amaç ve görev konuları ile ilgili olarak vakıflar kurmak.
- Amacına ulaşmak için gelir getirici iktisadi işletme ve tesisler kurmak, işletmek veya işlettirmek.
- Amaç ve görev konuları ile ilgili gelir getirici projeler için ortaklıklar ve şirketler kurmak, işletmek veya işlettirmek.
- Derneğin amacına uygun faaliyetleri yerine getirmek üzere, yurtiçinden ve yurtdışından ayni ve nakdi yardım toplamak ve kabul etmek; her türlü bağış kabul etmek, ulusal ve bölgesel yardım kampanyaları açmak, toplanan kaynakları amacına uygun kullanmak.
- Ulusal ve uluslararası düzeyde ücretli veya ücretsiz eğitimler düzenlemek ve sertifika vermek.
- Şartlı veya şartsız vasiyetlerden Dernek yararına görülenleri kabul etmek, söz konusu vasiyetnameler sonucunda Derneğe intikal eden ayni ve nakdi kaynakları amacına uygun hizmet üretiminde kullanmak.
- Amaç ve görev konularına uygun olmak üzere kamu kurum ve kuruluşlarıyla sivil toplum örgütlerinden ayni ve nakdi bağış kabul etmek.
- Bu Tüzükte belirtilen amaçlara ulaşmak üzere, kamu kurum ve kuruluşları ile görev alanlarına giren konularda ortak projeler yürütmek.
- Yoksul ve kimsesiz öğrenciler başta olmak üzere, başarılı öğrencilere, karşılıksız veya karşılıklı burs vermek.
- Amaç ve görev konuları ile ilgili olarak her türlü taşınır ve taşınmaz mallar ile menkul değerleri satın almak, kiralamak, satmak, kiraya vermek, yapı ve tesisler yapmak ve gelir getirici hukuksal tasarruflarda bulunmak; gerekli hâllerde borçlanmak ve amaçlarını gerçekleştirebilmek için gerekli her türlü faaliyeti, iş ve işlemleri yapmak.
- Genel Merkez Yönetim Kurulu kararları ile oluşturulacak komisyonlar veya gruplar aracılığı ile amaç ve görev konularında araştırma, inceleme ve etütler yapmak, öneri ve dilekleri saptamak; araştırma ve geliştirme merkezleri kurmak; bilgi bankası oluşturmak, gelir getirici projeler hazırlamak ve uygulamak.
- Oku Okut Kitap Kafeler, Oku Okut Öğrenci Yurtları, Oku Okut Kreşleri, Oku Okut İlkokulu, Oku Okut Lisesi ve Oku Okut Koleji açmak, işletmek veya işlettirmek.
- Gerekli görülen yerlerde Oku Okut Okuma Köyleri, Oku Okut Gençlik ve Dinlenme Kampları açmak, işletmek veya işlettirmek.
- 4721 sayılı Türk Medeni Kanunu ile diğer kanunlarda öngörülen hükümler çerçevesinde hizmet ve çalışmalar yürütmek.
- Diğer ulusal derneklere amacına uygun proje bazlı iş birliğinde bulunmak, bunun için ulusal ve uluslararası kaynaklardan yararlanmak ve yurtiçinde ve yurtdışında personel görevlendirmek.
- İmkânları ölçüsünde görev alanı kapsamına giren hususlarda engellilere, muhtaç hastalara ve yoksullara yardım yapmak, yaşlılar ve çocuklara bu amaçla hizmet vermek.
- Devletin fon sağladığı durumlarda desteklenen projeleri uygulamak.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSOCIATION
The duties and responsibilities of the Okut Okut Association are as follows:
1. To support education and training as much as possible and to take action to increase reading habits.
2. To provide the products (books, online training programs), database, digital library, tools, and materials in the physical and/or digital environment that fall within the scope of the association and make them available to the members of the association and those who participate in the activities.
3. To develop the necessary databases and applications and to establish the necessary units in order to carry out services in the field of duty of the Association.
4. To carry out campaigns on the subjects falling within the scope of the association’s duty.
5. To cooperate and work with the relevant domestic and foreign institutions, organizations, and centers on the subjects falling within the scope of the association’s duty.
6. To carry out research and awareness-raising activities in the country and abroad on the subjects falling within the scope of the Association’s duty, and to assign individuals or teams within this scope.
7. Participating and supporting the campaigns planned and carried out by state institutions on the subjects falling within the scope of the association’s duty.
8. To create the necessary databases, applications, and units in order to carry out services in the field of duty of the Association.
9. To provide funds from the public and private sectors in order to carry out the activities falling within the scope of the association’s duty.
10. To accept in-kind and/or cash donations and aids in order to be able to act on the issues falling within the scope of the Association’s duty.
11. To establish and develop the necessary service units for communication with people and students residing in places without internet and participating in regular book reading and other campaigns through the voluntary service system of the Okut Okut.
12. To establish all kinds of education and training institutions related to its fields of activity, in order to support activities in line with its purpose when deemed necessary.
13. To encourage people of all ages and especially young people to participate in the activities of the Association.
14. To carry out and develop youth services.
15. To do the necessary work to increase the number of members.
16. Organizing national and international conferences, symposiums, seminars, courses, panel discussions, forums, exhibitions, fairs, trips; publishing brochures, newsletters, magazines, CDs, tapes, films, newspapers, journals, and books.
17. To promote the Association by using written and visual media and social media.
18. Establishing foundations in relation to its aims and duties.
19. Establishing, operating, or having operated income-generating economic enterprises and facilities in order to achieve its purpose.
20. Establishing, operating, or operating partnerships and companies for income-generating projects related to its purpose and mission.
21. To collect and accept in-kind and cash aid from home and abroad in order to carry out activities in line with the purpose of the Association; to accept all kinds of donations, to open national and regional aid campaigns, to use the collected resources in accordance with their purpose.
22. To organized paid or free training at the national and international levels and to issue certificates.
23. To accept conditional or unconditional wills that are deemed beneficial to the Association, to use the in-kind and cash resources transferred to the Association as a result of the said wills in the production of services in accordance with its purpose.
24. To accept donations in cash and in-kind from public institutions and organizations and non-governmental organizations in accordance with its purpose and task.
25. To carry out joint projects with public institutions and organizations on matters falling under their jurisdiction, in order to achieve the objectives set forth in this By-law.
26. To give gratuitous or mutual scholarships to successful students, especially to poor and orphaned students.
27. Purchasing, renting, selling, leasing, constructing buildings and facilities, and making income-generating legal savings regarding all kinds of movable and immovable properties and securities; to borrow when necessary and to carry out all kinds of activities, works, and transactions in order to realize its objectives.
28. To conduct research, studies and studies on purpose and duty issues, to determine suggestions and wishes through commissions or groups to be formed by the decisions of the Board of Directors; to establish research and development centers, creating a knowledge base, preparing and implementing income-generating projects.
29. Opening, operating, or having Okut Okut Book Cafes, Okut Okut Student Dormitories, Oku Okut Kindergartens, Oku Okut Primary School, Okut Okut High School and Oku Okut College.
30. To open, operate or have others run Okut Okut Reading Villages, Okut Okut Youth, and Rest Camps where deemed necessary.
31. To carry out services and studies within the framework of the provisions of the Turkish Civil Code No. 4721 and other laws.
32. To cooperate with other national associations on a project-based basis, to benefit from national and international resources for this purpose, and to assign personnel at home and abroad.
33. To assist the disabled, the needy, and the poor in matters that fall within the scope of its mandate, and to provide services to the elderly and children for this purpose.
34. To implement supported projects where government funds are provided.
KURUMSAL YAPI
Oku Okut Derneği’nin kurumsal yapı birimleri ve organları aşağıda gösterilmiştir:
Genel Merkez Genel Kurulu: Genel Merkez Genel Kurulu, Oku Okut Derneği’nin en yetkili karar organı olup, her üç yılda bir temmuz ayı içinde olağan olarak Ankara’da veya yönetim kurulunca uygun görülen bir yerde toplanır. Genel Merkez Genel Kurulunda, Genel Merkez Denetim Kurulu denetim raporları okunur, geçen döneme ilişkin bilanço, gelir-gider ve kesin hesap çizelgeleri ile gelecek dönem çalışma programı, gelecek döneme ait bütçe tasarısı görüşülür, Genel Merkez Yönetim Kurulunun ibrası oylanır. Toplanılmayan yıllar için Genel Merkez Yönetim Kuruluna bütçe onay yetkisi verilir. Gerekirse bu konuda komisyon oluşturulabilir. Oku Okut’un görev, ufuk ve amaçlarından oluşan genel politikalarını belirler.
Genel Merkez Yönetim Kurulu: Genel Merkez Yönetim Kurulu, üç yıllık dönem için yedi asıl ve yedi yedek üye olarak Genel Kurul tarafından seçilir. Genel Merkez Yönetim Kurulu; Oku Okut’un Genel Kuruluna karşı sorumlu organıdır. Bu sıfatla, Oku Okut’un amaç ve yönetimine ilişkin bütün işlemlerinin, usulüne uygun olarak yürürlüğe konulmuş uluslararası antlaşmalar, ilgili kanunlar, Genel Kurul kararları, bu Tüzük ile uygulama esaslarına uygun olarak düzenlenip yürütülmesini ve gözetimini sağlar. Oku Okut’un amacına uygun her türlü çalışmayı planlar, hazırlar ve Genel Kurul kararlarına uygun olarak icra eder. Oku Okut’un amaç ve hedeflerine yönelik hizmet ve faaliyetler için ulusal ve uluslararası kaynak sağlayıcı faaliyetleri yürütür.
Genel Merkez Denetim Kurulu: Genel Merkez Denetim Kurulu, üç yıllık dönem için üç asıl ve üç yedek üye olarak Genel Kurul tarafından seçilir. Genel Merkez Denetim Kurulu, Dernek içi denetim görevini yerine getirmekle yükümlü ve sorumludur. Bu maksatla Oku Okut yönetimi tarafından gerçekleştirilen çalışmaları, işlevlerin etkinliği ve verimliliği, mali raporlama sisteminin güvenilirliği, kanun ve düzenlemelere uygunluk açısından inceler, değerlendirir ve denetim sonuçlarını Genel Merkez Yönetim Kuruluna ve toplandığında Genel Merkez Genel Kuruluna rapor olarak sunar.

The Board of Directors: The Board of Directors is elected by the General Assembly for a three-year term as seven principal and seven substitute members.
